Your privacy
Disease Atlas is an offline medical education and reference app. It has no developer account, advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, or automatic upload of your data to the developer. Optional support emails are sent only when you choose to send them.
Information stored on your device
The app saves your language, appearance and mode choices; whether you have seen the introduction or dismissed the getting-started tip; bookmarks; IDs of up to 12 recently viewed conditions; and the last verified Pro access state in local app preferences. Search text is processed inside the app and is not saved as search history. The app does not automatically send these local preferences to the developer. A content report includes the selected language and reading mode only if you choose to send it.
Deletion and backups
You can clear bookmarks and recently viewed entries in Settings › Data. Using Delete App in iOS removes the app’s current local data; Offload App may retain it. Apple-managed iCloud or computer backups may contain app data. You manage these backups through Apple’s settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Subscriptions
Apple processes Disease Atlas Pro payments. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit services to verify access and does not send transactions to a developer-operated server. The developer does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password. Apple’s handling of purchase information is covered by its own privacy policy.
Health information and images
The app does not create personal medical records or request user photos, camera access, microphone recordings, location, contacts or HealthKit data. Educational content and images are bundled with the app. Search and bookmark choices can relate to health topics, but are not sent to the developer.
Support and external links
If you choose to email support, your sender name (if supplied by your email app), address and message are used to respond to your request. Do not include unnecessary patient records or identifying health information. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and any applicable record-keeping obligations. Contact support to request deletion. Opening a privacy, support or Apple link uses your browser and the destination site’s own privacy practices. Content issue drafts include only the entry and optional finding names/IDs, selected language and reading mode, app/build and content revision, and the message you enter. You can review this information before opening your email app. Copy report puts it on this device’s clipboard for up to ten minutes; it is not shared through Universal Clipboard.
Policy updates
If this policy changes, the current version will be published on the privacy page. The bundled copy is updated through an app update.
